**SOLD** 1986 2cv6 Special
Meet Freddy, a stunning 1986 2cv6 finished in Vert Agave. We have maintained Freddy for his owner since 2017, when he was rebuilt by us and transformed into the lovely car we see today.
The aim was to create that classic look from the 'sweet spot' of 2cv production in the 1960s, hence the timeless colour of Vert Agave was chosen, with earlier chrome hoop front bumper over riders, a three bar AZAM grille with bonnet chevrons and chrome 'baguette' trim strip. Other chrome detail can be seen around the car such as wheel trims, wiper arms, sill strips and tail pipe trim, all to give that tastefully classy look.
Freddy in first class condition throughout and he is structurally excellent, having received an SLC galvanised chassis, new floors, toeboard and rear sweep sections. All body panels are excellent too, having received a pair of brand new rear doors last year. He has been fully undersealed and Dynax waxed underneath, and all body cavities have received the same wax treatment.
The seats have been retrimmed in high quality grey leatherette, which matches the canvas hood by Matt's soft tops, and other interior trim has been finished in contrasting ivory white. He also benefits from a period-look CD stereo and roof mounted speakers.
Mechanically, Freddy has been looked after by us since his rebuild and features a 123 electronic ignition, solid state coil and a new clutch, as well as recent new items such as tyres, battery, exhaust and brake discs/pads. He starts on the button, runs like a swiss watch and drives beautifully, as you would expect. Many other smaller parts have been renewed over time to keep him in great shape.
Freddy will come serviced & checked over by us, and with a new MOT, ready for his new owner to enjoy.

SOLD 1982 2cv6 Special
A road legal 2cv for £2500! This 2cv does need work, but is a very straightforward and worthwhile project. A complete and running car which benefits from being registered as a Historic vehicle - meaning it is now exempt from Road tax, MOT and is ULEZ compliant.
Ideally requiring a new chassis, as well as a spot of work the the front floor area, the car is otherwise really solid in the other important areas such as bootwell, rear sweeps, rear seat box and the lower windscreen/bonnet hinge area. It could also do with some cosmetic tlc of course, with the paint being very flat in areas. The car would also require a more general going over and items such as tyres replacing before being used on the road.
Finished in the more unusual colour Rouge Castile, 2cv is a very early Special, being registered in the first year of the 2cv6 Special being available in the UK. This car also has some provenance with the 2cvgb club, being owned by some high-profile members in the past, and also took part in the 'Raid USA' rally in the 1980s.
You could drive it away, strictly at your own risk, and it would happily get you home, but a trailer is recommended.
A nice car with loads of potential to make good, and it certainly deserves to see the road again!
